PLANO, TX. (October 29, 2024) — Lori’s celebrated the grand opening of a whopping eleven new stores during the month of October. 

Just in time to participate in Breast Cancer Awareness fundraising, FIVE new locations in Louisiana will serve Ochsner Medical Center in Jefferson, Kenner, Baptist, West Bank, and Baton Rouge. Katie Gettis, VP of Corporate Development, said, “This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our hospital partners and the dedication of our amazing Support Center employees! From merchandising, finance, and IT, to marketing, and the fifteen tenured store managers who helped get these stores off the ground—your hard work has not gone unnoticed!”

SIX new retail locations were opened in the Houston area to serve Texas Children’s Hospital, including West Tower, Wallace Tower, Abercrombie, Women’s Pavilion, the Woodlands, and West Campus. Lori’s President Jeff Gloor stated, “These stores will further our mission of being a trusted place of joy and support, while aligning with Texas Children’s mission to create a healthier future for children and women through compassionate care, research, and education.”

The new Houston locations are part of our ongoing partnership with Texas Children’s Hospital, which began in early 2024 with the opening of their state-of-the-art hospital in North Austin, Texas.
